Business logo design for Start Ups: How we get going…

Company logo design

Example start up business logo design.

I’m always being asked how I would go about creating your logo, in a nut shell, processes can differ depending upon
the clients needs but generally I would kick-off a logo design project with some good, quality conversations. I would
aim to learn as much as possible about your company, it’s values and the way you wish to do business. I’d research
how the design needs to stand out against your competition and how it relates to your main target audience. This
information helps to shape your identity (brand) thus allowing me to inject that message into your logo design.

If after our initial meeting you wish to work together on the project, I would draw up a basic project agreement that
suits both parties. Once signed I would start work by sketching logo ideas during a brainstorming phase, then pick
between 1 – 4 of the best for presentation. After receiving feedback on the rough ideas, the final logo is refined,
chosen, approved and prepared for identity development. This means we would look at how it would be used initially,
business cards, letterheads, web, signage etc. If your business is less than 6 months old, I offer special ‘Start Up’
price and am happy to pass on my print trade prices to get you going. My branded logos are created in all
necessary formats and come with a usage guide.
